Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Supply Desk. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, providing one-to-one assistance and small group interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN in the classroom
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to assess and address students' needs
  • Monitor and track the progress of students, providing feedback to the teaching team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEN
