About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team at Longsands Academy as an HR Adviser. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a salary of £33,408.00 per year.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the delivery of the HR People Strategy and HR Advisory Service, working closely with Principals and school Business Managers to enable business delivery and provide specialist coaching, support and advice.
  2. Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, practices and SLAs, ensuring consistency and compliance throughout the Trust.
  3. Support the development and implementation of HR policies and processes, working with stakeholders to identify individual and collective learning and development needs.
  4. Deliver practical advice, training, and coaching to line managers on all aspects of people management, policy launches, system initiatives and applicable changes to employment legislation.
  5. Contribute to the development and maintenance of practical toolkits for management teams to access, helping to embed a continuous learning and performance management culture within the Trust.
  6. Work with stakeholders to identify and implement HR Project initiatives across the Trust, driving school improvement through supporting the development of clear objectives linked to the Trust Strategy and Academy objectives.
  7. Attend regular meetings with Principals and school Business Managers to discuss Academy objectives and challenges, providing HR support to enable or mitigate these.
  8. Actively manage and use HR dashboard and management information to drive engagement with stakeholders.
  9. Provide guidance and input into workforce planning and reorganisations, ensuring that HR policies and processes are aligned with business needs.
  10. Proactively gain key client feedback to assist with ongoing growth and improvement of the HR Advisory Service.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in HR, preferably in an education setting.

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
