Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students.
  • Support individual students or small groups with their academic and social development.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to implement lesson plans and educational activities.
  • Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Provide additional help to students with varying learning needs.
  • Contribute to the overall welfare and pastoral care of students.
  • Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of educational principles and practices.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time position, during school hours (08:30 - 15:30). 5 days per school week (Monday to Friday)
