Position Overview

Due to significant growth and advancements in our biosensor sector, we are pleased to announce an opening for an Engineering Support Specialist to join our Facilities Engineering division.

This role involves overseeing the Maximo maintenance management platform, collaborating closely with Facilities Project Engineers and the broader Facilities teams to ensure the efficient scheduling of maintenance tasks and the provision of essential support services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and analyzing equipment performance.
  • Coordinating Facilities Engineering initiatives.
  • Establishing preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Prioritizing and allocating resources for urgent tasks.

As the primary contact for internal stakeholders, you will have the opportunity to represent our function and cultivate valuable business relationships.

Candidate Profile:

To excel in this position, you should possess a recognized Engineering apprenticeship or a higher education qualification (such as HNC, HND, or degree) in a relevant field. While prior experience in a manufacturing or facilities context is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with a Maximo system (or similar) is beneficial, though training will be provided. Proficiency in the MS Office suite is essential, as you will be required to generate reports and related documentation.
