Job Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Rough Sleeping Project as an Insight Performance & Data Officer. This role is essential in providing analytical and performance support to our team.

Your contributions will be vital in a service that integrates various support systems, including substance use treatment, housing, outreach, and mental health services, aimed at addressing community needs effectively.

The starting salary for this position is £24,150, with annual increments based on our pay progression structure, reaching up to £28,252 per year (pro-Rata).

The successful candidate will be expected to work from our offices, with the possibility of hybrid working arrangements for the right individual, while maintaining a presence in the office for a minimum of three days each week.



Key Responsibilities

In collaboration with service staff, managers, and key stakeholders, you will report directly to the Insight Performance & Data Manager. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling and reporting local activity data across various services.
  • Conducting monitoring, analysis, and reporting, including submissions to relevant government departments.
  • Ensuring consistent performance reporting standards across the service.
  • Maintaining and entering data into client management systems.
  • Monitoring data quality and compliance with national standards.
  • Facilitating the development of the service staff's understanding of performance metrics and data management.
  • Providing effective system support to staff while recognizing local processes.
  • Assisting the Insight Performance & Data Manager in performance management meetings and action plan development.


Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced data professional or an IT graduate eager to leverage their skills in a meaningful role. You should be detail-oriented and possess strong communication abilities to foster positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Essential skills include:

  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data standards, including GDPR and related regulations.
  • Experience with client case management systems and data quality improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent IT skills across various applications.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in delivering training on data systems is a plus.
  • A background in health and social care or a desire to support community needs is advantageous.
