About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team at Thales Underwater Systems. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities across various projects and bids, ensuring that our business needs are met while maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage procurement activities across multiple projects and bids, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and develop mitigation plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to meet business needs
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in procurement project management, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements
