Music Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Music Educator to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a SEN Specialist Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering music education to neurodiverse children and young people, fostering creativity, self-expression, and a love of music within the class.
Key Responsibilities- Lead classroom activities, including planning, teaching, and assessing learning, particularly with 'your' class.
- Monitor and record progress, both academically and against EHCP outcomes.
- Work closely with pupils to keep them engaged, motivated, and inspired to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to direct them in effectively supporting the pupils.
- Patience, compassion, and resilience to work with neurodiverse pupils.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to contribute to a range of resources and share information effectively.
- A driving license to transport pupils to various settings.
- A genuine interest in a career focused on the education of people with a wide range of needs.
- Holidays: 39.2 weeks per year, with paid additional weeks off.
