About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Manager to join our team at SAHA. As a key member of our housing operations team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent services and improving resident satisfaction across all schemes within your area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Excellent Services: Work closely with residents, internal stakeholders, and external partners to identify and address their needs, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
  • Improve Resident Satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to enhance resident engagement, satisfaction, and overall quality of life.
  • Build Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with local organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to benefit SAHA and our residents.
  • Effective Tenancy Sustainment: Work proactively with residents to prevent tenancy breaches, arrears, and voids, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Community Development: Identify opportunities to enhance community development, social inclusion, and cohesion, promoting a positive and supportive living environment.
  • Safeguarding and Anti-Social Behaviour: Work collaboratively with residents, staff, and external agencies to address safeguarding concerns and anti-social behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful living environment.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
  • Community Development and Engagement: Experience in community development, engagement, and partnership-building, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by vulnerable populations.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, providing leadership and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Technology and Data Analysis: Familiarity with technology and data analysis tools, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and drive service improvement.
