Chief Physiologist, Rhythm Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Chief Physiologist to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will provide clinical and leadership support to our team, implementing evidence-based procedures and policies, and ensuring staff complete relevant training and statutory updates.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical and leadership support to the team
  • Implementing and working to Trust and Directorate procedures, policies, and guidelines
  • Assisting in the management of staff performance and development
  • Ensuring staff complete relevant training and statutory updates
  • Identifying and reporting performance issues

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Clinical Physiology, Cardiology, or equivalent, with extensive experience at Senior level. They will be able to work as an independent practitioner in the field of implantable device and rhythm management, and demonstrate understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.
