Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Relationship Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our client-facing team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing client accounts, providing exceptional service and support to our clients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be the face of our business, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their energy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and develop new and existing client relationships, optimizing quality of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Energy Services Management: Manage the overall process of creating energy tenders, setting up and arranging overall strategy, reducing energy usage against pre-set targets, and identifying opportunities to upsell.
  • Commercial Management: Manage product/service mix, pricing, and margins according to agreed commercial targets.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and receive information on market activities and provide relevant reports and information to clients.
  • Supplier Management: Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure sustainable relationships through positive tender responses.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business growth strategies, including contract renewals, selling of additional services, bringing in new sales leads, responding to and following up on sales enquiries.
  • Team Leadership: Line manage an Account Manager and Energy Auditor.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Client Account Management: Proven experience in managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of the Energy Supply Market: Strong knowledge of the energy supply market, with specific experience of leading the delivery of utilities services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills to upsell and introduce new services and packages to existing clients.
  • Commercial Acumen: Commercially astute, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Leadership Skills: Experienced leader, with the ability to delegate and manage across systems and departments.

Desirable:

  • Salesforce Experience: Knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence.
  • Energy Supplier Experience: Previous experience working with energy suppliers.
  • Multi-Site Experience: Experience of working with multi-site accounts or in the public-sector space.
