Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant Trainee to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing tax payments, and organizing internal and external audits.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Tax Management: Process and manage tax payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Audit Support: Organize and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies, conducting detailed risk analyses to assess potential systems and processes.
- Financial Reporting: Develop and present monthly financial reports to senior management, analyzing financial trends and providing insights for informed decision-making.
- Financial Systems: Work closely with the accounting team to develop and implement financial systems and processes, utilizing accounting software to accurately record, store, and analyze financial data.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, maintaining a strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
The successful candidate should have:
- Studying for professional accounting qualifications - either ACCA or CIMA.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar financial role within a relevant sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
We offer a competitive salary range of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum, opportunities for professional development and growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.
