Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant Trainee to join our client's finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing tax payments, and organizing internal and external audits.

  1. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and compliant with financial regulations.
  2. Tax Management: Process and manage tax payments, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  3. Audit Support: Organize and support internal and external audits, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  4. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  5. Financial Reporting: Develop and present monthly financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  6. Financial Systems: Work closely with the accounting team to develop and implement financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Accounting Software: Utilize accounting software to accurately record, store, and analyze financial data, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  1. Studying for professional accounting qualifications - either ACCA or CIMA.
  2. Demonstrable experience in a similar financial role within a relevant sector.
  3. Proficiency in accounting software.
  4. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
