About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team at Adecco UK Limited. As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Senior Accounts Clerk and Group Finance Manager in various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase ledger, coding and posting invoices on SAGE, and resolve supplier queries
  • Conduct bank reconciliations
  • Post receipts and payments from the cashbook
  • Assist with monthly management accounts preparation
  • Approve purchase invoices by matching them with POs, delivery notes, etc.
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements
  • Produce the monthly payment run
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems
  • Provide support to the Senior Accounts Clerk and Group Finance Manager
  • Assist the Payroll Clerk
Requirements
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Experience with SAGE 50 would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
