About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Coach to join our team at Star Academies. As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to our pupils, helping them to succeed and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning plans, ensuring that pupils receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among pupils.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning strategies.
  • Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting, with a proven track record of supporting pupils to achieve academic success.
  • Working knowledge of the National Curriculum and ability to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of pupils and the school.
