Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at EG Group. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for championing training and development within our company, identifying, designing, and facilitating appropriate development solutions to support our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships with operational teams to identify training needs and develop solutions to address them.
  • Developing and implementing tools for the Retail Development Programme, including induction, skills development, and succession pathways for progression.
  • Ensuring essential training, including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Allergy Awareness, is completed and maintaining training records for all colleagues.
  • Providing regular MI and reports to key stakeholders about completion rates, risks, and activity to ensure compliance levels are maintained.
  • Supporting the Personal Development Review (PDR) process to ensure meaningful conversations, SMART development plans, and learning needs analysis are completed.
  • Working collaboratively with Line Managers to retain talent by developing a pipeline for internal progression.
  • Providing onsite support and coaching to improve capability and championing training and development throughout the company.
  • Participating in relevant projects, leading and championing as appropriate.
  • Staying up-to-date with external trends and L&D best practice.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of L&D experience.
  • Experience of operating in a multi-site business.
  • Passionate and motivated to develop people skills.
  • Ability to adapt communication and training styles to include remote, virtual, 1:1, and team learning.
  • IT literate – excel, PPT, word, SAP Success Factors, e-learning.
  • Driver's license.
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to travel to different locations.
