Role Summary:
As a Chef de Partie, you will collaborate with our culinary team to create delightful dishes that nourish both body and spirit. Your passion for food and service will shine through in every plate you prepare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in all facets of food preparation, production, and service.
- Ensure that the quality and presentation of all dishes align with the company's standards and client expectations.
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff and assistants, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development, considering dietary restrictions, nutritional guidelines, and seasonal ingredients.
- Manage stock control and ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing waste.
- Work with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a contract catering environment or educational institution is preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
