Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Reflect Recruitment Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacture, engineering maintenance, planning, and management of all production functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate production activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Monitor and control production costs, inventory levels, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a demanding and critical industry sector, such as Oil and Gas/Power.
  • Understanding of CAD drawings and software.
  • NEBOSH and/or comparable Managing Safety experience.
  • Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings/specifications and manufacturing documentation.
  • Competent with the workings of a Production PLC.
