About the Role

As a key member of the Northwood team, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and sustainability in our product development process. As the NPD Project Manager, you will lead new product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expertise in paper, packaging, and materials to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Regularly review and analyze packaging materials, products, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and design teams to create innovative and sustainable product proposals.
  • Support and drive concept development and environmental impact assessments.
  • Chair NPD meetings and ensure effective communication across the business.
  • Develop and implement project plans with clear critical paths, check points, and sign-offs.
  • Manage NPD budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong project management skills with experience in new product development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of sustainable practices and environmental impact assessment.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
