As the NPD Project Manager at Northwood, you will play a vital role in driving innovation and sustainability across our paper product manufacturing operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead new product development projects from concept to launch, leveraging your expertise in packaging, materials, and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the End-to-End NPD Process: Solely responsible for managing new product development projects, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Drive Innovation and Efficiency: Regularly review packaging materials, products, and processes to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency improvements, and sustainability enhancements.
- Develop New Packaging Ideas: Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and site design teams to create innovative and exciting product proposals, from conception to 3D modeling.
- Support Concept Development and EPD: Assist in developing and implementing new product concepts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and sustainability goals.
- Ensure Environmental Sustainability: Continuously review and assess the environmental impact of new products and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Chair NPD Meetings: Lead regular meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and ensure effective communication across departments.
- Develop and Implement Project Plans: Create and execute project plans with clearly defined critical paths, check points, and sign-offs, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
- Manage NPD Communication: Foster effective communication across the business, ensuring all departments are informed and aligned with NPD project objectives.
