Transformative Opportunity for a Global HR Business Partner Intern
British American Tobacco is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Global Corporate Functions HR Team as an HR Business Partner Intern. This exciting opportunity is a fixed-term position for 6 months, based in London.
About the Role
As an HR Business Partner Intern, you will play a key role in various HR initiatives and projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a truly global setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to creating avenues of employee learning, development, and engagement initiatives, including global employee engagement and communication platforms, tools, and materials, learning & development initiatives, functional capability building, and engagement survey actions.
- Work with large sets of data and streamline it to meaningful information to lead leadership decisions.
- Ensure quality support in the joiners/movers/exits processes.
- Advise employees on HR processes.
- Ensure data accuracy in relevant HR systems, including BPC, SuccessFactors, and OrgVue.
- Contribute to the People & Culture projects as and when required.
- Actively contribute to enhancing existing processes, measures, and management activities to maximize efficiencies and quality of customer service.
- Contribute to building pilot systems for some of our talent approaches, with a focus on coding skills.
Requirements
We are looking for a recently graduated or currently enrolled individual in a Master's Degree Programme in Business, Human Resources, or a relevant Organizational Studies Field. Prior exposure to the field is preferred, and you should have a good command of written and spoken English. You should also have mastery of MS Office Applications, particularly Excel, PowerApps, SharePoint, and Power BI. Strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as highly motivated and ambitious, are essential. Strong communication skills, team working capabilities, and a keen desire to demonstrate creative thinking are also required.
