Pharmacy Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Administrator to join our team at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will provide administrative support to our Senior Management Team and Pharmacy Service, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Management Team and Pharmacy Service.
- Support the Pharmacy team in providing an efficient and effective service, including maintenance and administration of leave and rostering systems.
- Assist with telephone systems, reception areas, and shop stock in the dispensary.
- Liaise with estates regarding necessary maintenance and repairs of the Pharmacy Department.
- Communicate with staff, visitors, and patients with tact and professionalism.
- Monitor and maintain staff attendance details, including annual leave, appraisals, and mandatory training.
- Arrange meetings and coordinate diaries of senior management team members as required.
- Provide administrative support to meetings, including production and circulation of agendas and minutes.
- GCSE English and maths C or above (or equivalent).
- Customer Care experience.
- Knowledge and experience of various elements of Microsoft Office to process correspondence, documents, spreadsheets, and presentation material to a high standard.
- Ability to deal confidently and directly with all members of healthcare teams and members of the public.
- Ability to prioritize own workload and work unsupervised within departmental guidelines/SOPs.
