Project Services Team Lead

Semco Maritime is seeking a highly skilled Project Services Team Lead to join our E&C team. As a key member of our project controls team, you will be responsible for developing and managing project controls services for our E&C department.
Key Responsibilities- Project Control Lead: Develop and implement project control processes across the portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Support to Planning Governance Manager and Cost Control Manager: Collaborate with these managers to implement and maintain project control processes, and provide support for audits, reviews, and approvals as needed.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and provide training to the Project Control team, including Planners, Cost Engineers, and Estimators.
- Business Engagement: Engage with the business services team to ensure effective project control processes.
- Process Development: Develop and implement processes and procedures for controlling projects, ensuring correct project controls tools and methodologies are applied.
- Performance Indicators: Establish and manage project performance indicators, driving input to weekly or monthly department performance reports.
- Earned Value Management: Develop, proceduralize, and implement Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to drive project performance.
- Risk Management: Identify and report schedule and cost risks and opportunities, and support the management of change, growth, and variation.
- Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis: Support the development of Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (SRA, CRA) procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance within the Project Control team.
- Data Analysis: Analyze project data to enable early identification of problems and drive positive behaviors towards mitigating actions.
- Cost Engineering Support: Support E&C Cost Engineers with analysis of cost report data.
- Language: English
- Experience: Full project lifecycles within a Project Controls or Project Engineering function
- Contract Knowledge: Experience in various forms of EPC contracting
- Integrated Project Controls System: Experience with an integrated project controls system
- Microsoft 365: Experience with Microsoft 365 data collection and analysis tools, including PowerBI
- Project Controls Qualification: Formal Project Controls Qualification (Cost or Planning Pathway)
