Position Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team on a temporary contract basis. This role is pivotal in supporting our client, a leader in the Aerospace, Defence & Security sector, as they enhance their SAP GTS systems.

Role Responsibilities:
As an SAP GTS Functional Analyst, you will leverage your expertise to:

  • Prioritize and manage tasks to deliver effective solutions for incidents, problems, change requests, and projects in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and design tailored solutions.
  • Support migration initiatives as necessary.
  • Customize and maintain master data within the SAP GTS framework.
  • Utilize ABAP for debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive solution frameworks and architectures.
  • Work closely with technical resources and business experts to facilitate prompt incident and problem resolution.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure all deliverables receive acceptance from the business.
  • Adhere to both internal and external standards throughout the solution development process.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP Global Trade Services Functional Analyst.
  • Experience in implementing SAP GTS as a Greenfield project or rolling it out to a new Company Code.
  • A deep understanding of SAP GTS, with the ability to analyze new requirements and implement necessary system modifications.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Business Stakeholders as the SAP GTS Subject Matter Expert.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now and JIRA.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

  • Experience in implementing SAP GTS as a Greenfield project.
  • Familiarity with SAP GTS integrated with Customs Declaration Systems.
  • Experience with Seeburger and knowledge of SD and MM modules.
