**COMPANY PROFILE**

**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
Reporting to the EMEA Trade Compliance Manager this position has primary responsibility for supporting the Trade Compliance (TC) team within the EU region, especially with UK Import and Export regulations affecting our different businesses. This role will serve as a Trade Compliance Specialist to review, interpret and action on relevant Trade Compliance initiatives and projects within the UK and in some instances within the EU region.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Be able to quickly learn and understand the CNHI business goals and objectives for Trade Compliance within the UK and EU region.
- Able to comfortably work on multiple projects with minimum training as the priority needs for our business change.
- Manage and control our compliant participation into different Trade Compliance initiatives including, but not limited to, Special Customs Regimes (IP, SCDP/CFSP, etc.) FTAs, Country of Origin, Valuation, etc.
- Become our leader on the implementation and maintenance of AEO authorization/s and support our regular renewals as required.
- Prepare executive metrics using internal / external sources or databases such as MSS reports reviews, business cases and presentations utilizing Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Assist with the review and update of current Trade Compliance SOPs, work instruction, process flows and all related documents as required under the direction of Subject Matter Experts.
- Support manual and automated self-auditing activities of import/export transactions
- Support the preparation and development of corrective actions resulting from deviations identified when conducting audits and self-assessments.
- Manage HS commodity classification of items by generating metrics and reports to measure classification process performances and when needed, update the classification database with the classifications provided by SMEs
- Support investigations pertaining to trade compliance with applicable import/ export laws
- Regularly Update the Customs Compliance SharePoint as needed
- Support the different trade compliance areas with the record retention program for import and export documentation

**KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- College/University - Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Compliance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Transportation helpful.
- Previous MRP knowledge and understanding is helpful.
- Able to clearly communicate; practical attitude; solution-oriented; team player.
- Able to balance work load priorities to address multiple projects at once.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong computer skills

Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel and Power Point

SAP, Oracle or other business intelligence tools
