Your primary focus will be on designing and developing efficient, scalable, and secure SAP systems that meet the complex business needs of our organization. You will work closely with our leadership and business teams to identify and implement solutions that drive business value and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of new functionality and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems
  • Designing new solution extensions based on business requirements
  • Providing architecture and design guidance to the outsourced development team
  • Building and managing a team of engineers to develop, configure, and implement solutions as per product development best practices to meet business requirements
  • Monitoring the work of the outsourced technical team and ensuring standards are adhered to in accordance with SAP's Solution Extensions
  • Ensuring technical integrity of projects, making sure that common technical elements are leveraged, and that work is not duplicated
  • Working with and advising the Quality team on the design of test plans, test cases, and on automation
  • Participating in product roadmap and product strategy definition
  • Helping and reviewing the creation of training, product, and solution documentation
  • Coordinating with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with other components of Pharmanovia's technology stack interface with SAP
  • Holding self and others accountable to committed deadlines and ensuring successful deliverables
  • Taking an active role in the development of other team members
  • Engaging with leading customers and strategic partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design
  • Leading the team in driving and delivering customer solutions
  • Performing integration architecture and infrastructure design activities
  • Participating in resolving technology integration problems
  • Acting as a mentor, coach, and providing training to internal team and consultants by sharing solution and technical expertise
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication throughout projects
  • Must be hands-on with development and ABAP/Basis as needed to support project timelines and objectives
About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Solutions Architect with a strong background in SAP product consulting, systems integration, or architect roles. You will have a good understanding of SAP best practices and expertise in ABAP development with a very good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, SD, PLM, and APO.

You will also have demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design and development and ABAP Restful Programming Model. Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA would be advantageous, as well as experience with Java-based development. You will be an expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests and implementing business solutions utilizing SAP technologies.

You will have experience working with interfaces in addition to Web Services, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs communicating with non-SAP applications. You will also have experience with SAP security concepts and have implemented authorization checks in ABAP objects. Experience in working with SAP Cloud technologies like SAC and other SAP Cloud technologies is also desirable.

You will be an expert in doing solution demos and presentations to customers/business stakeholders/architects. You will have experience with Data Masking, Data Anonymisation techniques. You will have a good understanding of SAP architecture and technical data flow of SAP business processes. You will have experience managing projects and working with a team of engineers. You will be proficient in performance tuning to deliver optimized solutions. You will have exposure to compliance regulations like GDPR, ITAR, and Export Compliance. You will be able to assess and manage/notify technical risks and issues to the manager. You will have confidence in reporting both verbally and in writing to executive level. You will have great communication skills and proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
