Strategic Business Development Manager

Company Overview:

BMS Performance, a leading supplier of niche medical devices, is experiencing rapid growth and expansion. With a recent multi-million pound investment and a trebled turnover in six years, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to drive sales of our innovative ENT surgery products.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced medical device sales professional to develop a specialist business unit within our existing company structure. As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of our highly innovative ENT surgery equipment and consumables, including a laryngeal implant, dilation balloon, and specialist haemostasis products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue growth across the UK
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Lead a team of salespeople and clinical training specialists to continue driving growth and developing this business channel

Requirements:

  • Well-established and successful medical devices sales experience
  • Surgical equipment sales experience
  • Excellent new business skills and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ideal experience in ENT surgery and/or medical imaging
  • Ambitious and career-driven

Package:

  • Basic salary: £50,000 to £60,000
  • Bonus: £30,000 OTE + uncapped commission
  • Car: Fully expensed company car or car allowance of £650 / month
  • Benefits: 6% Pension, 25 days holiday + stats, health insurance, death in service

Travel Requirements:

The Strategic Business Development Manager will cover the UK and must be willing to travel nationally.
