Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaning Specialist. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our Banbury Bussiness Park location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Clean and maintain washrooms, including restocking supplies and ensuring proper hygiene practices.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as mops, vacuum cleaners, and floor cleaners, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Carry out cleaning tasks as required by the contract specification and supervisor, with a focus on meeting quality standards.
  • Dust and tidy assigned areas, including offices, common areas, and other spaces.
  • Ensure punctuality and attendance, and respond to requests from management and clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle and store cleaning products and equipment safely, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and quality, and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Communicate any cleaning issues or concerns to management and take initiative to resolve problems.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies.
