Therapist for Children and Young People

We are seeking a skilled and experienced sessional therapist to join our team at Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. The successful candidate will provide outpatient individual therapy to children and young people with a range of mental health issues.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years post-qualification experience of working with children and young people. A good knowledge of CBT, risk assessments, and risk management is essential. Accreditation with the BACP, BABCP, or UKCP, or registration with the HCPC is required.
The role will involve the provision of assessments and therapy to outpatients who require therapeutic intervention. The successful candidate will be available to deliver outpatient sessions in-person on site due to the demand for in-person treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient individual therapy to children and young people with mental health issues
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions in-person on site
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team
Requirements:
- At least three years post-qualification experience of working with children and young people

Working Arrangements:
The successful candidate will be required to work on a sessional basis, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the service. Ideally, we would be looking for the successful candidate to offer appointment times after the school day or during evenings/at weekends.

Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located in Bromley. The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients, day patients, and both adult and CAMHS outpatients.
