About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate National Business Development Manager with a strong sales history in the Automotive industry, particularly in the sales of Electric Vehicles (EVs).

As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in expanding our client's range of EVs to resellers and dealerships throughout the UK, focusing initially on their existing network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Evangelist: Act as an in-house EV expert with full ownership of our client's EV product channel, building awareness and understanding both internally and externally.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with EV regional/central teams, Product Strategy, Product Development, Brand Managers, Operations, Marketing, and Commercial stakeholders to guide strategic decisions based on market insight.
  • Strategy to Execution: Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, ensuring quick time-to-market and optimal resource utilization.
  • Customer Focus: Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas to enhance customer experience and drive growth.
  • Brand Development: Lead the development of brand activations and channel partnerships, overseeing brand initiatives to strengthen market presence.
  • Network Strategy: Develop and stabilize the channel network, motivating partners to introduce new products into the market.
  • Annual Brand Plan: Create and execute an annual brand plan for the EV offerings, building brand awareness and aspiration in priority markets.
  • Campaign Execution: Strategize, plan, and lead the execution of brand portfolio strategy and develop relevant campaigns.
  • Customer Engagement: Visit customers to solicit feedback on products and services, bringing to life the benefits of our electric vehicle solutions.
  • System Implementation: Implement new systems or processes related to the management of EV Sales.
What We Offer

About You
  • Proven experience in Business Development within the Automotive industry, particularly in Electric Vehicles.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Ability to translate product strategy into actionable plans.
  • Proven Sales track record selling into Automotive resellers and dealerships.
  • Passionate about EV technology and sustainability.
