We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pastry Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at The Lygon Arms Hotel in Broadway, Worcestershire.

As a Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Chef de Partie in the preparation of pastries and desserts.
  • Ensure that all food preparation and dishes are made to the standard laid by the Company.
  • Take ownership and direct responsibility for all dishes served in your section.
  • Be confident and fully conversant with the menu and be adaptable with continual changes to ensure that the menu is kept in line with customer demands and Company policies.
  • Ensure that the correct and same ingredients are used as specified by the Head Chef and Pastry Chef de Partie to ensure quality is upheld at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a fast-paced hotel kitchen would be advantageous.
  • You will have a keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team.
  • Great timekeeping skills and able to prioritise tasks.
