Experienced Nursery Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for the children in our care.
As a Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for supervising children, ensuring their safety, and organizing activities such as games, crafts, and educational tasks. You will work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth, and kindness to all those who work in our nurseries.
Tops Day Nurseries Ltd is a 92-place Day Nursery & Pre-School situated in Fawley, Southampton. We run several extra-curricular activities, including Before and after school clubs, Forest School, cooking school, Boogie Mites, yoga, tooth brushing, football fun, and much more
Responsibilities- Supervise children and ensure their safety
- Organize and take part in activities, such as games, crafts, and educational tasks
- Develop and maintain the nursery budget
- Arrange marketing materials
- Monitor the condition of the facility and equipment and organize maintenance, repairs, and new items as required
- Update parents and Carers about their child's progress and behavior
- Answer enquiries about enrolment, payments, and practices
- Develop and implement an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities
- Prepare the nursery for Ofsted inspections and follow inspector recommendations
A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required. Excellent communication skills, to engage with the children and converse with other staff members and parents. Creative skills and imagination to provide educational activities to children that can ensure the child is happy and learning in a rewarding environment. Positive outlook, to keep children happy and build an environment where children feel secure and rewarded.
