We are thrilled to present an opportunity to become part of Bellway, one of the leading residential developers in the UK. Our South London Division is seeking to appoint a Sales Consultant to enhance the Division's Sales team. This position requires regular travel to various locations within the division.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Consultant will report directly to the Sales Director and will be responsible for the daily operations of the site sales office, ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the purchasing process. This includes achieving qualified sales reservations and meeting or surpassing sales objectives, as well as effectively managing reservations through to contract exchange and legal completion.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the overall presentation of the site and sales office to a high standard.
  • Ensuring that all necessary information is readily available to provide accurate details to potential buyers.
  • Guiding prospective buyers through show homes, available plots, and the site to showcase the offerings.
  • Informing visitors and potential buyers about Bellway's Health and Safety Policy, ensuring they are always accompanied by a Bellway representative.
  • Keeping precise records using Bellway's internal CRM system.
  • Regularly communicating with buyers, solicitors, and financial advisors.
  • Coordinating customer home demonstrations with the Site Manager and executing the Company's handover procedures.
  • Assisting customers with any issues or inquiries post-legal completion.
  • Participating in and documenting weekly Sales/Site Meetings with the Site Manager.
  • Collaborating with Sales Managers and team members to propose strategies for increasing sales.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience

  • Proven experience in a face-to-face sales environment.
  • Previous experience as a Sales Consultant for a residential developer is preferred.

Education

  • GCSEs in Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong negotiation and sales abilities.
  • Good organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in IT and adaptable to new systems.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Working Conditions

  • Flexibility in daily tasks and working hours is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, depending on the site.
  • This is a floating role, requiring travel to all sales sites, including divisional offices.
  • Availability to work on weekends and bank holidays.
