About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Developer to join our Data Team at Angel Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL Server databases to ensure accuracy, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain database objects to ensure accuracy and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues, including performance tuning and optimization.
  • Produce realistic test, training, and demo data for developer and test teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and optimal system performance.
  • Stay current with database technologies, trends, and best practices.
About the Team

Our Data Team is critical in ensuring the success of our internal systems and external products. We work with vast amounts of data, handling tens of millions of pupil assessment and census records, hundreds of thousands of lesson observations and performance management reviews, and up-to-the-minute pupil attendance records. Security is paramount, and we take pride in our ability to provide insights, support decision-making, and help customers understand their strengths and challenges.
