About the Role

Your new company is a well-established manufacturing organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth. As an Executive Secretary to the Chair, you will provide a thorough and efficient secretariat service to the Board and its Committees, ensuring smooth and effective administration of Board activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Chair and CFO with full diary and inbox management, prioritising commitments and forward planning their workload.
  • Arrange meetings, travel, and appointments, taking full responsibility for creating a seamless working pattern to ensure business success.
  • General administration of paperwork and document management is required within this role, handling confidential information delicately and professionally.
  • Arrange and attend Committee and Board meetings, creating agendas and presentations, and ensuring that relevant documents are distributed in preparation for the meetings.
  • Take accurate and concise minutes, recording key decisions and following up on actions with the attendees.
  • Provide support to the wider team with event coordination, meeting support, projects, and administration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of multiple stakeholder management.
  • Strong minute taking experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of working within a fast-paced, varied environment.
  • Organisational skills to efficiently work to tight deadlines.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to demonstrate discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  • Use of Microsoft Office packages.
