HR Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our team at KM4HR as a HR Consultant. As a key member of our consultancy, you will provide expert HR advice and support to a range of businesses, from sole traders to SMEs, on a variety of HR matters.

Your role will involve providing outsourced HR support, advising on recruitment, staff contracts, onboarding, grievances, disciplinary issues, and other HR-related topics. You will also be involved in client-specific projects, such as updating or implementing HR policies and practices, and providing tailored advice and guidance on UK employment law.

We are looking for an individual with strong HR knowledge, often working at senior level, and advanced knowledge of employee relations. You should be confident in advising on all areas of the employee lifecycle, have excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset with strong commercial awareness. CIPD qualification is desirable.

This is a flexible role, requiring the ability to manage your diary based on the needs of your assigned clients. You should be comfortable travelling around the M25 between Dartford and Chelmsford, approximately 1 day per week. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to businesses on a variety of HR matters
  • Advising on recruitment, staff contracts, onboarding, grievances, disciplinary issues, and other HR-related topics
  • Involved in client-specific projects, such as updating or implementing HR policies and practices
  • Provide tailored advice and guidance on UK employment law
  • Attend site to assist with more complex HR cases that require HR presence in meetings
  • Support business owners/leaders strategically plan for the short and long term futures of their business
