Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Admiral Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the shift and ensuring that all service points and food service hosts are prepared and ready for business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shift Leadership: Organize and supervise all aspects of the restaurant's daily shift, ensuring that all service points and food service hosts are looking their best and ready for business.
  2. Food and Beverage Service: Supervise the process of preparing and delivering a high standard food and drink service and experience to our guests.
  3. Team Management: Ensure that team members know their responsibilities for the shift and support the team to achieve their goals.
  4. Catering Events: Plan, organize, and deliver all bespoke catering events held within the restaurant.
  5. Customer Service: Own the restaurant bookings and reservation system, ensuring that customer queries are responded to quickly and efficiently.
  6. Communication: Prepare and deliver daily service briefings that are informative, motivational, and inspiring.
  7. Quality Control: Provide and support a clear line of communication between all team members, both front-of-house and back-of-house.
  8. Food Safety and Health: Act as a food safety and health and safety champion at all times, ensuring compliance as required.
  9. Reporting and Administration: Create weekly rotas, ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting, and support with other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: 2 years' experience of working in a good standard restaurant operation.
  2. Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-end food service supervisory role.
