Job Summary:
CBSbutler is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Operations Director to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional business outcomes and driving process improvements across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwriting Support Model: Collaborate with underwriting teams to deliver a world-class underwriting support model, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between teams.
- Risk Administration: Oversee the risk administration Standard Operating Procedures, process flow charts, and controls relevant to specified underwriting teams, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Team Management: Lead and manage the Operations Business Partnering team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure team members excel in their roles.
- Process Standardization: Work with other Operations Business Partners to standardize services and identify opportunities for automation or outsourcing, ensuring governance processes and testing are followed.
- Data Quality: Monitor data quality entry by the Outsourced Business Partner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Project Delivery: Assist the Head of Operations Business Partnering in delivering the UW Support Model, both in London and in the expansion to overseas offices.
- Procedure Development: Create procedure documents and participate in training workshops to ensure effective knowledge transfer and adoption.
Requirements:
- Insurance Industry Experience: Proven experience in the London Market Insurance processes and systems (bureau and non-bureau) is essential for this role.
- Outsourcing/Offshoring: Previous experience in outsourcing/offshoring and subsequent monitoring of tasks is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft products and advanced use of policy administration systems.
- Change Management: Prior experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) during change projects and adoption of new processes is necessary.
