Position Summary

The Trust is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to support our dynamic Pediatric Department. This role is integral to the establishment of a new service focused on Children and Young People's Gender Health.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in administrative support within healthcare settings, demonstrating a commitment to collaborative team efforts and a passion for enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the clinical team, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Assist in the coordination of patient assessments and consultations.
  • Manage scheduling and logistical arrangements for clinical meetings and training sessions.
  • Support the implementation of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in IT and various software applications.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in pediatric services or gender health.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance principles.
