We are seeking an experienced Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Children in Need team. As a key member of our team, you will work directly with families who are identified as Children in Need under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989.
Key Responsibilities- Work with families who are identified as Children in Need under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989
- Develop and implement support plans to meet the needs of children and their families
- Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure effective support and services are provided
- Conduct assessments and reviews to determine the level of need and required interventions
- Provide guidance and support to families to help them access services and resources
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in social work, particularly in safeguarding children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Children Act 1989
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Regular pay: £26.62 per hour
- Saturdays: £30.61 per hour
- Sundays: £34.61 per hour
- Bank Holidays: £53.24 per hour
- Overtime: £31.94 per hour
- Waking Night (Weekday): £39.08 per hour
- Sleep In: £71.87 per hour
