About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at a renowned 4-star hotel in the Derbyshire area. As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for assisting in the running of a small, dedicated pastry team and contributing to the creation of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality pastry dishes to meet the hotel's standards
  • Work collaboratively with the pastry team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and ideas to enhance the hotel's menu
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and ingredients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
