Role Overview
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Operations Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for the efficient management of the ancillary team, overseeing various functions including catering, maintenance, transportation, domestic services, and recreational activities within our Leonard Cheshire care home.
Your leadership will ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural standards, fostering a safe and well-maintained environment that promotes high-quality social and recreational activities for our residents.
This diverse position involves ensuring that the catering team provides a high-quality, cost-effective service while adhering to budgetary constraints. You will conduct risk assessments and utilize the HACCP analysis system to maintain Health and Safety compliance. Additionally, you will implement a robust maintenance schedule, ensuring that safety checks are performed within the required timeframes.
Furthermore, you will guarantee the availability of adequately trained drivers and escorts to fulfill the transportation needs of the service. The role also encompasses overseeing cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring that cleanliness and health and safety standards are consistently met.
