At Leonardo Royal Hotel St Paul's, we are seeking a Cluster Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator to enhance our exceptional team in the Meetings and Events sector. As a Cluster Meeting & Events Sales Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all facets of the Meetings & Events department.
  • Maximizing the profitability of events through effective cost management and supplier negotiations.
  • Upholding consistent service standards to guarantee guest satisfaction while fostering a workplace that reflects our organizational values.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively while providing training and support.
  • Courteous and focused on delivering a consistently high standard of service.

Daily Duties:

  • Manage all inquiries related to meetings and events, whether received via various communication channels.
  • Update the system with accurate and relevant information and generate necessary reports to assess progress and opportunities.
  • Ensure timely distribution of function sheets to relevant departments, paying close attention to detail.
  • Handle daily conference billing and address any queries regarding charges.
  • Process brochure requests and ensure clients receive all necessary information.
  • Maintain organized files for confirmations and relevant details.
  • Participate in weekly revenue and operations meetings, ensuring all figures are current.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
  • Address complaints in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Lead site inspections with professionalism.
  • Familiarize yourself with sister hotels for potential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Implement the company's customer relations policy and communicate hotel services effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of personal presentation.
  • Engage in training and personal development activities aimed at enhancing performance.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures for the department.
  • Keep work areas tidy and report any hazards or incidents to management.
