OUR IMPACT
Controllers play a vital role in ensuring that the organization adheres to all financial control and reporting requirements of a global, regulated, and publicly traded financial institution. Our experts evaluate the profitability and risks linked to every facet of the firm's operations. Additionally, Controllers guarantee that the firm's activities comply with the regulations governing financial market transactions.
We are a specialized team responsible for managing the firm's liquidity, capital, and risk, while providing comprehensive financial control and reporting functions. Whether it involves assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties, monitoring market risks tied to trading activities, or delivering analytical and regulatory compliance support, our contributions are essential to the firm's success. This environment is ideal for collaborative individuals who possess strong ethics and meticulous attention to detail.
The RRP core team serves as the firm's centralized unit tasked with formulating the strategy for, planning, and coordinating the firm's global and local RRP deliverables. This team oversees the assurance framework across our RRP capabilities and acts as the primary contact for regulatory inquiries related to RRP on a global scale.
YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for an Associate to design and implement capability assessments under the firm's RRP assurance framework and to assist in the ongoing enhancement of this framework.
The role will involve designing and executing capability assessments across the firm's RRP capabilities, which encompass:
  • Capital Management
  • Liquidity Management
  • Payment, Clearing, and Settlement Operations
  • Collateral Management, Identification, and Valuation
  • Management Information Systems
  • Shared and Outsourced Services
  • Legal Entity Rationalization and Separability
  • Derivatives and Trading Operations
This position demands strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to review and critically assess outputs provided by capability owners in the context of the assessments, as well as the capability to produce documentation that meets regulatory submission standards.
The role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in one or more of the aforementioned capability areas, or with a background in internal audit or a second line review function.
This position is part of the Assurance function within the RRP core team and will closely collaborate with other members involved in the firm's broader recovery and resolution planning initiatives.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a critical area of regulatory focus and contribute to the development of the firm's perspective and approach to RRP assurance.
