Our company has a strong focus on sustainable technologies and the development of solutions that contribute to cleaner energy sources, particularly in hydrogen infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Value Streams and Sales teams to drive commercial rigour and ensure risk assessment for projects and financial performance.
- Manage cashflows, milestone management, and terms & conditions, implementing process improvements to enhance customer service.
- Support tender negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and participating in win strategies.
- Mentor and coach execution teams on commercial best practices, both internally and with clients.
- Lead dispute resolution, managing internal and client communications effectively.
- Regularly liaise with the legal department and attend commercial meetings, potentially in overseas locations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with risk assessment protocols for active projects and opportunities.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial management.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability, clean order-to-cash processes, and sustainable growth.
- Sound understanding of financial reporting, cashflow, revenue recognition, and profit & loss.
- Experience in change management and a collaborative approach to affecting organisational change.
- Dispute resolution experience and strong data analysis skills.
- Ability to audit and report on business processes and management systems.
