Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager

About the Role
Mencap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fundraising Manager to join their Northern Ireland fundraising team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Community and Events fundraising across Northern Ireland and directly responsible for Digital Fundraising activity, Special Events, and Corporate fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage and lead a team of fundraising professionals to deliver successful fundraising campaigns
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, community groups, and individual donors
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy to increase online giving
- Plan and execute special events, including galas, auctions, and charity runs
- Manage and report on budgets and spend for Northern Ireland fundraising activities
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior fundraising role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
