Senior Community and Events Fundraising Director

Mencap is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community and Events Fundraising Manager to join their Northern Ireland team. This is a full-time hybrid working position, with a minimum of 2 days per week spent in our Belfast office, and frequent travel across Northern Ireland and occasional travel to London.
About the RoleThis role will oversee all Community and Events fundraising across Northern Ireland, with direct responsibility for Digital Fundraising activity, Special Events, and Corporate fundraising. The successful candidate will work closely with the NI Communication & Marketing Team to develop overarching fundraising Marcoms plans, and be accountable for the delivery and reporting of all budgets and spend for NI.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve income targets
- Manage and lead a team of fundraising professionals to deliver Community and Events fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate with the NI Communication & Marketing Team to develop and implement Marcoms plans
- Manage and report on budgets and spend for NI
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners and community groups
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled fundraising professional with a proven track record of income generation and budget management. The successful candidate will have experience of developing successful national fundraising portfolios, and the ability to create effective and sustainable fundraising strategies.
