Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Future Build Recruitment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of a £17m highways project near Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project in accordance with the JCT contract and specifications.
  • Lead and support site managers and workers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to align objectives and integrate project elements seamlessly.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Maintain transparent communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates.
  • Effectively report on progress to the client and their representatives as well as internally.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in managing projects of a similar size and nature.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of JCT contracts and specifications.
