About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Training Specialist to join our team at Baker Tilly International. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative tax training programs for our employees and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Research and create high-quality tax training materials, including course outlines, presentations, and handouts.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive tax technical resource that provides easy access to core tax knowledge and processes.
  • Training Delivery
    • Deliver tax training courses to internal staff and external clients, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences.
    • Collaborate with the Senior Tax Training Manager to develop and deliver the Trainee Tax Programme, including the creation of tax training modules and assessments.
  • Process Improvement
    • Support the Senior Tax Training Manager in consulting with tax heads and departments to discuss current processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Research and create firm-wide training materials to ensure understanding and adoption of new processes.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Act as a liaison between training and tax departments to ensure alignment of training with tax needs and business objectives.
    • Support the development, evaluation, and maintenance of online tax training modules.
    • Identify knowledge gaps and create training materials to mitigate these gaps.
Requirements
  • ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Creativity and ability to create engaging training materials.
  • Promoting and managing change.
