Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management: Manage a portfolio of US clients, overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and relationship management.
  2. Tax Strategy Development: Develop and implement tax strategies for clients with cross-border interests between the US and UK.
  3. Compliance and Advisory Services: Review US tax returns and provide proactive tax advice to clients.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider tax team to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  5. Staff Development: Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
  6. Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow the tax practice and contribute to the overall growth of Pro-Tax.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest US and UK tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  1. US Tax Experience: A range of previous experience in US tax compliance and advisory services, in owner-managed businesses, personal tax, partnerships, and corporate tax.
  2. UK Tax Knowledge: UK tax technical knowledge is preferred but not required.
  3. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and coaching staff members.
  4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
