About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team at a leading organisation in the industry. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll for a diverse client base, utilising payroll systems for weekly and monthly processing
  • Ensure accuracy in RTI submissions and effectively handle pension administration duties
  • Manual calculations, adeptly managing holiday pay, SSP & SMP, and other statutory payments
  • Conduct thorough bookkeeping across multiple platforms, including Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Maintain meticulous financial records
  • Provide professional and efficient responses to client queries
About You
  • Previous experience in a similar Payroll position is essential
  • Experience working with Pensions and Weekly / Monthly wages is essential
  • IT Skills in Xero, Quickbooks and Excel are required
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
  • Strong organisation and time management skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required
